I don’t think we talk about this enough. That feeling of losing yourself… of not knowing what you’re doing, who you are, or where you’re going. We tend to see it as something going wrong. But I’m starting to see it differently. Because a lot of the time, what’s actually happening is that the version of you that wasn’t really you… is starting to fall away.

I’ve always felt a little different. For a long time, I was still able to blend in—especially with family and friends. But as I got older, that started to change. My life was moving in a different direction, even before I fully understood what that direction was. I just knew I didn’t fit the same way anymore.
